Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

This policy explains what information Square Crop (squarecrop.app) handles when you use it. The short version: your images stay on your device.

Your images

Square Crop processes images entirely inside your web browser. When you add a photo, it is read from your device into the browser's memory. Cropping and saving happen on your device too. Your images are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's. We cannot see, store or share them. Closing or refreshing the page discards them.

Information collected automatically

Square Crop is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website, when your browser requests a page, our hosting provider receives standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the tool.

Cookies and tracking

Square Crop does not set cookies, does not use analytics and does not store anything in your browser between visits. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to help protect the site from automated abuse.

Advertising

Square Crop does not currently show ads. We may add them in future to help keep the tool free. If we do, we will update this policy before they appear to explain what information is collected and the choices you have.

Children

Square Crop is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal details or store your images, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question about your data or wish to exercise your rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
